How do I get started?
Koolontheweb is a social bookmarking site that allows you to store, organize and share your bookmarks on the web.
If you find a link you're interested in saving, you can store it in your Koolontheweb account. You can quickly access your bookmarks
and favorites from any computer wherever you are!
If you already have an account please Login.
If you do not already have an account, you can create one simply and easily. Register.

My bookmarks
My bookmarks is where all your saved bookmarks reside.
You can get to this page by visiting http://koolontheweb/[your_username], or using My koolontheweb browser button.

My network
Once you find someone that has bookmarked sites that interest you,
you can add them to your network list so that you easily discover websites from your new friend.

Post
On this page you can add your public or private bookmarks to koolontheweb.
When adding a bookmark into your account there is an option to mark a bookmark as private or public.
By default this box is not checked and all bookmarks you add are made public, you simply need to click
the box to make a bookmark private. Private bookmarks can not be seen to anyone except yourself when you
are logged in to your account. If you wish to make a bookmark private after you have already added it to
your bookmarks as public, simply select the edit option next to any bookmark in your account and change it to private.
To post your favorites, there is also Post to koolontheweb browser button,
that allow to you to post your bookmarks with one click.

Adding a Web Page using the browser's toolbar
A bookmarklet is a convenience utility for web browsers, designed to perform a certain function by one click.
Koolontheweb bookmarklet is an easy way to post a weblink to your bookmarks.
Add the My koolontheweb and Post to koolontheweb buttons to your browser.

This button takes you to your bookmarks page, http://www.koolontheweb.com/.
Use it to quickly access your bookmarks.

Post to koolontheweb button
This button allows you to bookmark a web page using the browser's toolbar.
- Right-click the following link. post to koolontheweb
- Select Add to Favorites and click Yes in the warning dialog (it's because the link contains a JavaScript).
- Select the Links folder and then click OK.
- Drag the following link and drop it onto your browser's toolbar. post to koolontheweb

How to share bookmarks
Invite everyone to look at your public bookmarks, URL is http://koolontheweb.com/[username].
If you would like to share only the bookmarks under a specific tag, Url is http://koolontheweb.com/[username]/[tag].
Other koolontheweb users can add you to your network. They can see your latest bookmarks without visiting your koolontheweb page.
There are also RSS feeds available for your bookmarks and tags.

How to add the Save to koolontheweb link to your web site
To allow others to easily save your webpage to koolontheweb, add the "Save to koolontheweb" link to your web site.
Replace "[URL]" and "[TITLE]" with the permalink and the title to your blogpost.
